ADvise - Writing Effective Ads
- In the Ad Title field, highlight the strongest point or points about your product or service. This is what people will see first when they browse the ad listings. Be specific. Use keywords.
Example: If you’re selling a 4-room HDB flat in Bishan, it’s best to say so in the ad title. If you’re selling it at a low price, you may want to put that in the title too - “LOW PRICE 4-rm Bishan HDB” or “Bishan HDB 4rm - CHEAP!”
- Use the Ad Summary field to say a bit more about the special qualities of your product or service.
Example: “High floor, good view, move-in condition” or “Corner unit, very private, designer décor”
-
In the Ad Details field, you have about 150 words (800 characters) to describe your product or service in detail. This field is optional, but it’s a good idea to give potential buyers (or sellers if you’re looking to buy something) as much information as possible.
